Getting Started

Once enrolled, our team will configure Ava and provide access to the Regal Hotel Dashboard. This process should take 24-48 hours, and no integration is required.

Implementation should take 24-48 hours. The guest directory and website are the 2 items initially included; you can add other web pages anytime, such as menus, booking sites, and room service menus.

The hotel will review and confirm important guest information, including amenities, hours, policies, services, contact information, and frequently asked questions. Hotels can keep their directory information up to date through Regal’s self-managed platform.

No. Regal Assistant works through the hotel’s existing Regal Digital Guest Directory. It requires no PMS integration, new hardware, or separate guest app.

Yes. Hotels can review and customize Ava’s responses so the information provided reflects the property’s amenities, policies, services, and preferred guest messaging.

Dashboard insights can reveal recurring guest questions and requests, identify information or services of interest to add or update, and help hotel teams improve guest communication while reducing repetitive front desk inquiries.

Participating Regal advertisers gain added exposure to hotel guests at the moment they are deciding where to dine, shop, explore, or find local services.

Ava can provide helpful business information, along with direct links that let guests call the business or visit its website with a tap of a finger.

Recommendations may include restaurants, attractions, activities, shopping, transportation, entertainment, and other services useful to hotel guests.

Privacy & Management

Guest information, hotel access, and platform administration.

Ava collects minimal guest information. Chat messages are anonymized and associated with a session ID. For service requests, Ava collects the room number and details of the request. Guests may also provide their name, but it is always optional.

No. Raw chat transcripts are not available to hotel users. Assigned hotel managers can view analytics generated from guest interactions and service requests submitted for their property, but they cannot read individual guest conversations.

Yes. Information transmitted to and from Ava is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Databases and server disks are also encrypted at rest.

Ava's conversation memory lasts for 60 minutes, and anonymized chat logs are retained for 90 days. Service requests and analytics are retained as part of the hotel's historical records.

Assigned hotel managers can access analytics and service requests for their own property. Authorized Regal Publications administrators have system-level access to support and manage the platform.

Yes. Hotels may contact Regal Publications to request deletion of their property's data. A self-service deletion option is not currently available.

Yes. Ava uses enterprise cloud and AI services through Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Bedrock. AI processing currently uses Anthropic Claude and Amazon Titan models. Service-request notifications are also processed through Regal's configured email provider.

No. Ava does not request payment information. For service requests, Ava asks only for the room number, details of the request, and, optionally, the guest's name.
