better acquainted with our condominium and townhome accommodations centrally located at the lifts, close to town, golf, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, XC skiing, as well as Mammoth’s other favorite activities, dining and shopping. We know the Eastern Sierra, so use us as a resource. If you don’t find the information in the Directory you need, don’t hesitate to stop by or call the office. We will be happy to answer your questions, make recommendations and let you know our favorite things to do and places to go in the area.

Helpful Information

Office
Management staff is available to help with any questions or problems you may have during office hours. Office hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Please call 760-934-8816. Staff is available for after hours emergencies.

Check-In Time is 4:00 P.M.

Check-Out Time is 10:00 A.M.

Checking Out
Important:
Please help us keep our cleaning costs and your rental rates down. Please follow the Check-Out Procedure listed below to avoid any extra charges.

Remove all trash (dumpsters located throughout parking lots).

Load and wash all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and sink.

Replace furniture if it has been moved including electronic equipment.

Leave all heaters at the 50 degree or low setting.

Turn off lights, close all windows and lock doors.

Have a safe trip home and come back soon!!

Appliance
If you have any question about or problem with the operation of any appliance in your unit, please contact the office. Forcing the operation of latches, doors or any functioning part may cause damage.

BBQ
Propane barbecues are located at the pool area for your use at most rental locations.

Laundry Room
This is a good vacation subject. You are on vacation and you need to do laundry. Coin-operated washers and dryers are located in the Public Laundry Room near the office at most complexes. Quarters are required to operate the machines. We appreciate your assistance in keeping the laundry room tidy.

Fire Safety
Do not remove burnt logs from fireplace or wood stove. Do not remove hot ashes. Do not put hot ashes in dumpsters. Do not put burnt logs on deck, wood pile, or anywhere. Do not barbecue on wood decks. In case of smoke or fire, leave the building and call 911. During the fire season, which is June 1-September 30, the California State Fire Marshal is requiring fireproof tarps to cover all firewood. During your stay, please keep the tarp in place covering all the firewood.

Firewood/Pellets

Do not remove fireplace ashes! Firewood or Pellets is provided for most of our guests. Firewood is usually stored on outdoor decks and pellets can be found in interior or exterior closets. Guests staying at Chamonix can find firewood in storage rooms in their building. Ash removal is done by Management only. Due to the extreme fire hazard, please do not attempt to empty and remove your fireplace ashes. Contact the office if

Keys
For locations requiring keys, two sets of keys are available per unit. Sets with one key operate the same lock on the front door and ski locker. Sets with two keys operate different locks. One key opens the front door and the other key opens the ski locker or common areas. Please return keys to the office upon check- out or leave keys in unit if instructed. A key drop is available for returning keys after office hours. Common area keys are provided inside the property for locations that have coded locks.

Maid Service and Linens
We provide maid and cleaning services at the end of your stay, when you check-out. Please follow the guidelines under “Checking-Out”. Towels may be exchanged every second day during your stay. Please call the office during office hours to request a change of towels or more supplies. The sofa bed sheets, towels, pillows and cases are stored next to the sofa bed or in the bedroom closet. You will also find extra blankets in the bedroom closet.

Parking
Generally, two unassigned parking spaces are available in the vicinity of your unit. Properties that have only one space or have assigned parking spots will specify the location with numbered spaces. Due to heavy snow conditions and snow removal operations in the winter, two parking spaces may not be available near your unit. During times of snow removal, please move your car so proper removal of snow may be accomplished and parking provided. Your cooperation with this request is greatly appreciated by Central Reservations of Mammoth and your snow removal equipment operators. When parking, please do not block access to the trash dumpster, pathways and snow storage ramps. Vehicles blocking dumpsters, pathways or snow storage ramps are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. No motor home or trailer parking allowed.

Parking Passes Required at Chamonix and Snowflower
Guests staying with us at properties that require parking passes will find them in the unit or in the envelope with unit keys at check in. Vehicles without a pass will be towed at the owner’s expense. Parking passes are available at 760-934-8816.

Phones
To place local calls, you need to dial 1 and the area code. For example, to call our office, dial 1-760-934-8816. Landlines are not longer provided in our properties.

Pool, Spa and Sauna
Pool:
There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Pools operate only in the summer during the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. A word of caution: Pools are kept just above freezing in the winter and are closed to swimming. No glass is allowed in the pool area. Any beverage you wish to consume in the pool area must be in a non-glass container.

Sauna: The sauna operates dry. Do not add water to the sauna! There is the hazard of electric shock! Sauna hours of operation are 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.

Spa: There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Mono County Health Department requires water temperatures below 104 degrees. Water temperature in the spa will range from 102 to 104 degrees. Spa hours are posted at pool area of complex. A word of caution: Pregnant women, infants and elderly persons are advised not to use the spa. Keep track of how much time you spend in the spa, as prolonged use could cause dizziness. Use of alcohol while using the Spa is not advised. No glass is allowed in the spa area. If you choose to take a beverage in the spa area, use non-glass containers. Spa jets are located on the wall adjacent to the spa. Please turn off jets after using the Spa.

Ski Equipment
Skis, boots and poles are to be stored in the ski locker or designated space in the entryway. Please do not store your ski equipment through out in the property. NO WAXING OF SKIS INSIDE THE UNIT.

Smoking
It is the policy of all condominium projects to create a healthy and safe living environment for all residents and to prohibit smoking anywhere on the property including but not limited to, the following areas: individual units, balconies, garages, parking lots, common areas, laundry room, patios and porches. This policy pertains to cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, cigars and marijuana. The Town of Mammoth Lakes does not allow smoking within 20 feet of any building.

Unit Supplies
Standard unit supplies are available at the office during posted office hours. Please check in room instructions for specifics of supply availability. These include tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, body and dish soaps. Basic starter supplies are provided for guests in each location to include TP, Paper Towels, Soaps, etc. Please consider purchasing any additional supplies you might need. Contact our office with questions.

Utility Use
Mammoth utility costs are extremely high. We request your cooperation in conserving energy whenever possible. Please turn back the heating thermostats whenever you are not occupying the unit and turn off lights when not in use. Thank you for helping us conserve energy.

A Word of Caution regarding the number of people who may occupy your unit. If you arrive with or at anytime occupy a unit with more people than have been registered, it is a crime. Penal Code No. 537 makes it a crime to defraud an innkeeper. Should this situation arise, your license to occupy the unit will be revoked and you will be evicted. You will not be permitted to occupy the unit and NO REFUND will be made, unless we are able to re-rent the unit you reserved.

This property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind, or for damage to or loss of car and/or its contents by fire, theft, or any means whatsoever while on the premises. You agree that you will be entirely responsible for any and all damages to the unit and/or its contents whatsoever, during the terms of the rental agreement on your stay. You also agree to hold the owners, managers, homeowners association, and/or employees of Central Reservations of Mammoth and its affiliates harmless for any and all damages, and all liabilities to real and/or personal property and/or bodily injuries to yourself and/or members of your party while staying at these accommodations.

Damage
When you arrive to a unit and notice any damage, or if damage occurs while you are occupying a unit, please notify the office immediately.

Noise
Please be courteous of others and refrain from loud noise, parties, music, etc.
