Our swimming pool hours are 9am -11pm, an adult must accompany children. No glass permitted in the pool area. Swim at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard on duty.

Indoor Pool– Located on the second for of the main oceanfront building.

Outdoor Pools – Located oceanfront of the main building, Villa II , Toer I and Tower I

Friendly Reminder to Our Guest

  • No smoking or pets allowed in the units. (There is a fine of $250)

  • No motorcycles, no mopeds, no trailers, no boats, no RV’s, no golf carts and no commercial vehicles allowed at the resort.

  • Please be careful not to damage or remove any items from the units because they are privately owned. (Charges will be made accordingly) Please notify the Front Desk Immediately should damages occur.

  • Please do not hang towels or clothing over the balconies.

What to Expect When Staying with Sands Resorts

  • Departure maid service is included in your stay. For daily maid service, please contact our front desk for prices.

  • Linens and towels are provided in the unit and the guest should use their washer and dryer to maintain these linens during their stay. Units without a washer and dryer may contact the front desk for exchange procedures for fresh towels during the normal business hours. Please return the soiled towels to the front desk for an exchange.

  • An initial supply of toiletry items is provided, it is your responsibility to maintain these throughout your stay.

  • Maintenance issues should be reported immediately to our front desk.

  • If you have any emergency issues such as a fire, please dial 911

  • Check out is any time prior to 11am

  • Please take out all trash to the trash receptacle located on each floor. Front Desk can assist with location should you need assistance. Please do not leave trash outside the door.

  • If your unit has a dishwasher, please load and start your dishwasher with dirty dishes.

Safety and Security

Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern to those of us who welcome you as our guest. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions.

ADMITTANCE
Do not admit persons to your room without first making identification. A peephole is provided in your door for your convenience. If there is any doubt about the person’s true identity, do not open your door.

DOUBLE LOCKS
For additional security, utilize the deadbolt lock provided on your door upon entering. This will prevent the door from being opened by a regular room key.

KEYS
Do safeguard your key. Be sure to leave it with the Front Desk upon departure. Do not leave it in the room or in the door. Do not give your key to others.

EMERGENCY & NON-EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In the event of an emergency, medical or otherwise, please dial 911 for immediate action. For non-emergency situations, Sand Dunes guests staying in OD Tower 1 or Tower 2 please contact the local authority at 843-918-1382. All other Sand Dunes guests, please contact our front desk for assistance - DIAL 8503.


Fire Safety

FIRE
Please familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest fire exit stairway. In the unlikely event of a fire, please move quickly but calmly to the stairs. Report fire or smoke to the Hotel Operator.

We hope these procedures will help to contribute to your comfort and well being during your stay at our Hotel.

FIRE SAFETY PROCEDURES
Like all buildings, hotels can have fires. Plan what to do when you check in. You won’t have time to plan during a fire.

First, find two exits nearest your room. Be sure they are unlocked and unblocked. Then, count doors between your room and exits, so you’ll have a reference point if it is smoky. When you hear an alarm, act, don’t investigate.

If the fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Once out report the fire.

If the fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel your door. If it is cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl in smoke. Fresh air will be at the floor. Take your key so you can get back in if you can’t use the exits.

If your door is hot, don’t open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal at your window. Call the Fire Department and wait to be rescued.
